Our next Members' event will be another fantastic whisky tutorial with Darren, and will take place on Friday 26th of April at 7.30pm, at 28 Victoria Street. Darren Leitch, will be presenting a Whisky Tutorial featuring a stellar line-up of Scottish whiskies, with samples of each expression available to try on the night. Tickets are £20.00 for W Club Members and spaces are limited. All guests will receive a 20% discount on the whiskies sampled.

Our next tasting W Club tasting in Oban will take place on Friday 26th of April from 6-8pm. Tickets are £15.00 for W Club Members. Each guest will also receive a 20% discount on the whiskies sampled on the night.

join us at The Whisky Shop Leeds for an evening with Compass Box, Hosted by Michael Stephenson, Compass Box UK Brand Ambassador. The event will feature five different whiskies (listed below) Compass Box fiercely believes in the merits of blending, and diversity within the blends. It bottles blended Scotch, blended malts, and blended grain whiskies. No age statements are found on Compass Box whiskies as the brand believe that these can be a false flag for quality. All Compass Box whiskies are free from chill filtration and artificial colouring. Tickets are £20.00 for W Club Members. and £25.00 for non-members. All guests will receive a 10% discount on whiskies sampled on the night. 

Join us at 7pm on Friday 26th of April for our next event. We'll be sampling an eclectic mix of 6 drams in total. (see below) This event may also feature a very special 7th dram! This is one not to miss. Due to the appearance of this special extra dram, we may also have a photographer in attendance, so be aware you may appear in photos that will be used on social media!

Mortlach's Charlotte Barker will be at our Leeds shop tomorrow to present samples of two expressions from this populat brand. Affectionately known as ‘The Beast of Dufftown’, this mysterious Speyside distillery is a favourite component of many a blender, including Johnnie Walker. Bottlings were rare and highly sought-after, and in 2014 Mortlach began releasing their own luxury single malts.

Torabhaig's Bruce Perry will be at our Oxford shop tomorrow to present samples of two expressions from the Isle of Skye newcomers. A new kid on the block, Torabhaig is the second distillery to grace the Isle of Skye; the first in 200 years. Founded in 2017, the distillery was created from a 19th century farmstead, near to the ultra-pure water sources of Allt Breachach and Allt Gleann - for which their second much-hyped expression is named. Made using traditional wooden washbacks and two copper stills, the result is a whisky is known for flavours of peat, sea spray, citrus and orchard fruits. It has since become a firm The Whisky Shop customer favourite. 

Our next W Club Members Tasting in Trentham will take place on Friday 26th April at 6.30pm.  Tickets are £20.00 per member and spaces are limited to 25 persons and all guests will receive a 20% discount on the whiskies sampled. The very exciting line-up of five whiskies will be revealed on the night!

Our next TWS Nottingham Tasting will take place on Friday 26th of April at 18:00. Tickets are £25 per member and booking is essential. All guests will receive a 20% discount on each whisky sampled.

Our next W Club Members Tasting in Birmingham will take place on the Saturday 27th April at 6:30pm. Tickets are £20.00 per member and spaces are limited. On the night, all guests will receive a 20% discount on the whiskies sampled.

oin us and The Macallan Brand Ambassador for an exclusive tasting of The Macallan range including Double Cask 12, 15, 18 and 30 Year Old plus the limited edition The Macallan Harmony Amber Meadow. The event will take place on Saturday 25th of May at 18:00. Tickets are £75, non refundable, but can be redeemed against a bottle of The Macallan on the night.
