Daftmill is a working farm distillery in the heart of Fife, and it operates on its own terms. The barley is grown on Daftmill Farm itself. The water comes from the distillery's own artesian well. Production is deliberately small with whisky is made seasonally, and that restraint is precisely what makes each release worth paying attention to.

Cask #22 is a single ex-bourbon barrel, distilled in 2013 and bottled exclusively for The Whisky Shop at natural cask strength, a robust 60.4% ABV. Unfiltered and undiluted, the liquid was matured in ex-bourbon - a classic choice for Lowland single malts – imparting vanilla, coconut, and gentle orchard fruit without overpowering the delicate, elegant spirit underneath.

Returns

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, we will arrange for a return via courier and issue a full refund.

To be eligible for a full refund you must contact us to inform us of any issue within 24 hours of receipt. Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.

Please note that any personalised, bespoke or made-to-order items, or items with a broken seal, are non-refundable unless faulty.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order, you must do so within 14 days from the day you received delivery. Items that are bespoke or personalised cannot be cancelled, and will only be returnable if faulty.

In the event of cancellation, the cost of returning your items will be your responsibility and not that of The Whisky Shop. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be processed on receipt of the items.
