Thirteen months on from our last trip to Campbelltown, we are once again joined by Gary Mills to revisit a brand that has long been a W Club Favourite.
There are two exciting whiskies on this tasting that weren't featured on the previous one: Glen Scotia 12 Year Old The Mermaid Icons of Campbeltown and Glen Scotia 15 Year Old. But since we last caught up with our friends from Scotland's smallest whisky region, Glen Scotia Double Cask Rum Cask Finish was also scored high enough in the Single Malts 12 Years and Under at this year's W Club Members' Choice Awards to merit a Gold Medal!
Glen Scotia is one of the last three working distilleries surviving in Campbeltown. By 1929 only three distilleries remained open in Campbeltown: Scotia, Springbank and Ri-Clachan. In 2014 the Loch Lomond Group purchased the distillery. It has gone on to invest heavily in Glen Scotia to develop this legendary brand, increasing capacity, opening warehouses and creating a visitor center.
Each pack will contain 4 x 3cl samples of:
- Glen Scotia Double Cask
- Glen Scotia Double Cask Rum Cask Finish
- Glen Scotia 12 Year Old The Mermaid Icons of Campbeltown
- Glen Scotia 15 Year Old
Additionally, following the event, you will receive a 15% discount on all the whiskies sampled. This discount is valid for two weeks from the date of the event.

This event is hosted on Zoom. You'll receive a link to the event in your tasting pack and by email prior to the event. If you join before the event is due to start you'll enter the waiting room until being admitted to the tasting with all other participants.
Can't attend on the night? Don't worry! Our events are recorded and the video made publicly available the day after the tasting. The recording can then be accessed via the link in the pack, so you can purchase and enjoy in your own time or give as a gift to be enjoyed any time!
