This single cask expression has been distilled at Islay's Bunnahabhain distillery in 2007. Matured in a single refill hogshead for its full term of 11 years, it was bottled in 2018 by Hunter Laing & Co. of Glasgow, as part of their First Editions series. Each bottle in the series is presented free from chill filtration and artificial colouring at a preferred strength of 46% abv. This outturn has produced just 246 bottles.
The nose is sweet with caramel and berries alongside some gentle herbal notes. The palate brings sweet toffee apples and salted caramel with some grassy notes, before a cinnamon spice in the long and lingering finish.
