The third in the Glenfiddich Experimental Series from Malt Master Brian Kinsman, this Speyside single malt has been finished for six months in French oak icewine casks from the renowned Peller Estate winery in Niagara, Canada. After visiting the estate in January 2016, Kinsman experimented with various combinations of Glenfiddich and icewine casks, finding that only the rarer whiskies could cope with the extra intensity. The result is Winter Storm, a limited edition 21 year old bottled at 43% abv. First released in October 2017, the long-awaited second batch is now available.The nose has tropical fruit notes and candied sweets with an underlying wine character. In the event of cancellation, the cost of returning your items will be your responsibility and not that of The Whisky Shop. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be processed on receipt of the items.
