This limited edition blended Scotch whisky celebrates Chinese New Year 2020 and the Year of the Rat. Featuring a beautiful illustration by artist Shirley Gong on three of the four faces of the iconic square bottle, this expression is the perfect gift for Chinese New Year, reflecting the prosperity and abundance that the Rat's arrival signifies. Crafted with single malt and grain whiskies from across Scotland – including Caol Isla, Benrinnes, Cardhu, Clynelish, and the ghost whisky of Port Dundas – this limited edition of Johnnie Walker Blue Label is bottled at 40% abv with each bottle individually numbered.
The nose is mellow and rounded with a dry smokiness and sweet raisins. The palate is velvety smooth with an explosion of hazelnuts, honey, rose petal, orange and sherry, before aromatic smoke, tobacco leaf, sandalwood and dark chocolate emerge. The finish is long and satisfying with rich notes of smoke, pepper and spice.
