Part of the Exceptional Single Cask series from The Macallan, this single cask release was distilled in January 1997 and matured for more than 22 years in a European oak sherry butt. The cask was reserved in April 2019 by Sarah Burgess for inclusion in the prestigious ESC series. Bottled in August of that year at a natural cask strength of 56.7% abv, just 606 bottles have been produced. The nose has sweet cherry and oak notes, with vanilla, ginger spice and figs all emerging. The palate brings a sweet raisin influence from the sherry butt, with an oak spice and nutmeg complementing ginger and chocolate notes. Returns

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, we will arrange for a return via courier and issue a full refund.

To be eligible for a full refund you must contact us to inform us of any issue within 24 hours of receipt. Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order, you must do so within 14 days from the day you received delivery. Items that are bespoke or personalised cannot be cancelled, and will only be returnable if faulty.

In the event of cancellation, the cost of returning your items will be your responsibility and not that of The Whisky Shop. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be processed on receipt of the items.
