2024 marks the 40th anniversary of Midleton Very Rare annual releases. For this landmark bottling, Midleton's Master Distiller, Kevin O'Gorman, has drawn upon his wealth of experience in both distillation and maturation to artfully craft a whiskey that remains true to the Midleton Very Rare profile, while introducing a subtle yet defining twist for this year’s annual vintage. Presented in a gorgeous glass decanter and sustainably made display case. Bottled at 40% abv. On the nose, rich vanilla intertwines with delightful floral and herbal notes, while aromas of orchard fruits gently build over time, adding ripe apple and sweet pear. The palate is silky smooth, boasting flavours of tropical fruits, creme brulee, toffee apple and chocolate dipped honeycomb. The delicate floral grain qualities and full-bodied pot still spices combine seamlessly with charred oak, before a lasting fruity finish. Read More

Returns

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, we will arrange for a return via courier and issue a full refund.

To be eligible for a full refund you must contact us to inform us of any issue within 24 hours of receipt. Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.

Please note that any personalised, bespoke or made-to-order items, or items with a broken seal, are non-refundable unless faulty.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order, you must do so within 14 days from the day you received delivery. Items that are bespoke or personalised cannot be cancelled, and will only be returnable if faulty.

In the event of cancellation, the cost of returning your items will be your responsibility and not that of The Whisky Shop. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be processed on receipt of the items.
