The fifth release in Nc’nean’s much-loved ‘Quiet Rebels’ series, this release is a celebration of yet another integral person at the Nc’Nean distillery, Simon, one of their distillers. This organic single malt was first matured in shaved, toasted, and re-charred red wine casks. A self-confessed beer enthusiast, Simon’s selected finishing casks for this release are something truly special - stout casks from Scottish brewing legends Innis & Gunn, which, in a lovely full-circle moment, had originally held Nc’nean whisky. The result is a rich and indulgent dram, full of depth and character. Bottled at 48.5% ABV, the whisky opens with aromas of chocolate brioche and coffee fudge cake, followed by a palate layered with sweet cherry jam, cocoa, and gentle baking spice. This organic single malt was first matured in shaved, toasted, and re-charred red wine casks. All orders are sent using tracked courier services, and we'll provide a link to track your order via email when it is dispatched so you can check on the progress of your items every step of the way.

Returns

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, we will arrange for a return via courier and issue a full refund.

To be eligible for a full refund you must contact us to inform us of any issue within 24 hours of receipt. Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.

Please note that any personalised, bespoke or made-to-order items, or items with a broken seal, are non-refundable unless faulty.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order, you must do so within 14 days from the day you received delivery. Items that are bespoke or personalised cannot be cancelled, and will only be returnable if faulty.

In the event of cancellation, the cost of returning your items will be your responsibility and not that of The Whisky Shop. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be processed on receipt of the items.
