The Last Drop 1971 description
This rare blended Scotch is created from more than 40 malt and grain whiskies, all distilled in the year 1971. Undergoing three distinct periods of maturation – 12 years in ex-bourbon casks, 9 years in ex-Oloroso sherry butts and a final 24 years in ex-bourbon casks – the resulting 45 year old blend is an exceptionally complex dram. Only 1,352 individually numbered bottles have been produced at 46.7% abv. Each bottle is presented in a luxurious green leather display case accompanied by a wax-sealed miniature.
