A limited edition bottling of the famous Living Cask Batch 4 from Loch Fyne Whiskies in the Royal Burgh of Inveraray, released to celebrate the Inveraray & District Pipe Band being crowned World Pipe Band Champions at Glasgow Green on 12th August 2017.2017 has been a fantastic year for the pipe band who have won a host of major accolades including The British Championship, The Scottish Championship, The European Championship and the overall drumming title and the World Championships, leading to the coveted title of Champion of Champions for the second year running.Together with our own Johan van der Wal, manager of The Whisky Shop Oban and a piper in the band, Loch Fyne Whiskies have released this commemorative bottle of the ever-evolving Living Cask series.Official tasting notes:Fresh creamy vanilla aromas with a dry citrus burst, fresh pine needle and lovely fresh oakiness, it opens nicely with time to reveal fresh apple, pear and rhubarb with a sweet heather bouquet.It has a creamy mouth-feel with a waxy texture, carrying a lot of flavour, autumn fruits with cherry, peaches and plums combining well with a dry wood spice and a little cinnamon. Adding a touch of water releases a more softer sweeter flavour, marshmallow and creamy coconut with a hint of wood smoke on the finish.A most perfect, warming beach bonfire companion. Read More

Choose our Reduce & Recycle service during checkout to remove any unwanted gift cartons, tubes or boxes, from your order. We'll send them to be recycled and you'll save paper, carbon emissions and time at the recycling centre!

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, we will arrange for a return via courier and issue a full refund.
To be eligible for a full refund you must contact us to inform us of any issue within 24 hours of receipt. Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.
Please note that any personalised, bespoke or made-to-order items, or items with a broken seal, are non-refundable unless faulty.

If you wish to cancel your order, you must do so within 14 days from the day you received delivery. Items that are bespoke or personalised cannot be cancelled, and will only be returnable if faulty.
In the event of cancellation, the cost of returning your items will be your responsibility and not that of The Whisky Shop. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be processed on receipt of the items.
