The ninth edition in The Living Cask series of small batch releases from Loch Fyne Whiskies in Inveraray, this intriguing blended malt is built upon the original and award-winning The Living Cask 1745. Each batch is crafted with the remnants of its predecessor, meaning this expression is an ever-evolving creation. This release has seen the addition of five Speyside single malt whiskies matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks. The nose is light, floral and soft, with notes of green apples and a touch of manuka honey. The palate brings toasted almonds and sweet vanilla, before a gentle citrus note emerges. The long and impressive finish has more soft fruits, vanilla and honeyed sweetness, with a subtle drying spice. Please note: The Loch Fyne products are presented in handmade glass bottles. The Living Cask batched releases took inspiration from Professor George Saintsbury's 'Notes On A Cellar', in which he described a "living cask" created using a solera system to allow fresh whisky to be influenced by more mature malts that remained in the same cask, continuously maturing and enriching the flavour of the whole. Choose our Reduce & Recycle service during checkout to remove any unwanted gift cartons, tubes or boxes, from your order. We'll send them to be recycled and you'll save paper, carbon emissions and time at the recycling centre!

All orders are sent using tracked courier services, and we'll provide a link to track your order via email when it is dispatched so you can check on the progress of your items every step of the way.

Returns

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, we will arrange for a return via courier and issue a full refund.

To be eligible for a full refund you must contact us to inform us of any issue within 24 hours of receipt. Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.

Please note that any personalised, bespoke or made-to-order items, or items with a broken seal, are non-refundable unless faulty.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order, you must do so within 14 days from the day you received delivery. Items that are bespoke or personalised cannot be cancelled, and will only be returnable if faulty.

In the event of cancellation, the cost of returning your items will be your responsibility and not that of The Whisky Shop. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be processed on receipt of the items.
