A stunning single cask expression from the now-closed Cambus distillery, near Alloa. This 30-year-old grain whisky was matured in refill hogshead before being bottled at 51.2% abv.
The nose is decadent with rich, sweet vanilla coupled with dried fruits and watermelon. The palate has treacle pudding, soft vanilla, and macaroon. The finish is waxy, rich, and indulgent.
