Tincup is an American whiskey, named after the tin cups the Colorado mining pioneers drank their whiskey from. It is an original blend of Indiana ‘high rye’ bourbon and single malt whiskey from Colorado, aged in charred American white oak barrels for at least four years. These two whiskeys are blended together and cut with fresh water from the Rocky Mountains, before being bottled at 42% abv.
Deep caramel in colour, and plenty citrus aromas with pepper on the nose. The palate reveals rye spices, caramel and cinnamon, leading to a spicy and clean finish.
