Walsh Whiskey’s Writers’ Tears is a critically acclaimed, award-winning recreation of the fabled 19th century whiskey. This dram is the marriage of one cask, two grains, and three distillations. A marriage of aged single pot still and aged single malt Irish whiskey, this expression matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks. It is distilled entirely from barley, both malted and unmalted. Non-peated, this dram comes out at 40% abv. This is inspired by the production methods of the whisky that was enjoyed by many of the great Irish writers. Joyce, Wilde, Beckett, and so on all enjoyed the dram that was famous for blending pot still and malt drams. On the nose one can expect flashes of crisp green apple and vanilla. Returns

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, we will arrange for a return via courier and issue a full refund.

To be eligible for a full refund you must contact us to inform us of any issue within 24 hours of receipt. Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.

Please note that any personalised, bespoke or made-to-order items, or items with a broken seal, are non-refundable unless faulty.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order, you must do so within 14 days from the day you received delivery. Items that are bespoke or personalised cannot be cancelled, and will only be returnable if faulty.

In the event of cancellation, the cost of returning your items will be your responsibility and not that of The Whisky Shop. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be processed on receipt of the items.
