Drumadoon Point is the fourth and final edition of Arran's Explorers Series, named after a scenic headland on the west of the island which is also home to Shiskine Golf Club. This expression has spent 23 years in sherry puncheons before being bottled up at 49.5% abv.
The nose is sweet with red apples and an underlying maltiness, followed by pastry notes. A tinge of spice appears on the palate with star anise, cinnamon, and flavours of dark chocolate and raisins. Expect a long and warming finish with a nice balance between sweet and spicy flavours.
