Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

In light of the developing situation around the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, The Whisky Shop would like to reassure our customers that we are doing everything we can to minimise disruption to our service, while complying with all guidance and advice issued by the government for the well-being of our staff and customers. Please read on for more information on how we are responding in our shops and online business.


Our shops will be closed temporarily from Monday 23 March. We look forward to seeing you when we reopen.

Online Ordering

Sadly, we have decided to temporarily suspend our online business from 25th March 2020. We have stopped taking any new orders and will be contacting all customers with orders in our system at that date.

Click & Collect

Click & Collect is temporarily unavailable as of Monday 23 March, until our shops reopen.


Our online auctions will run as normal, with some temporary changes.


Our team are following government advice to work remotely. As such, we will be unable to answer telephone enquiries. If you have any questions, please contact us by email.


We will continue to add new lots to the website on a weekly basis.


If you wish to submit bottles for auction, please get in touch with us by email at to discuss. We will be happy to add you to our waiting list, ready to add your items to our auctions as soon as we are able to operate safely again.

Home Delivery and Collect from Shop/Auction House

Home Delivery and Collect from Shop/Auction House is temporarily unavailable from Monday 23 March until we reopen.

Free Storage

We continue to offer free storage of won lots at our Auction House. While this option was previously limited to 90 days, we have removed this restriction while we are unable to dispatch items.

We will continue to review this information along with all processes and procedures in line with government and local advice.
