This single cask expression from Hunterr Laing & Co.'s First Editions series was distilled in 2009 at Deanston in the Scottish Highlands. Matured in a single port cask for its full term, this limited edition release produced just 239 bottles in 2019, each one presented at a preferred strength of 46% abv, free from chill filtration and artificial colouring.
The nose has apple, plum and raspberry notes. There's sweet red berries on the palate, with toffee and dark chocolate, before a long finish with lingering pepper and spice.
