This Speyside single malt was distilled in 2007 at Glenburgie distillery. After thirteen years in a port cask, this expression was bottled in 2021 by family-run independent bottler Hunter Laing & Co. as part of the First Editions series. Only 246 bottles have been filled at a preferred strength of 46% abv, free from chill filtration and artificial colouring.
Aromas of vanilla and rhubarb fill the nose. The palate is creamy and sweet, with sultanas and butterscotch. The finish is long, fruity and dry.
