It took 65 years for Maker’s Mark to release a whisky aged for over a decade – not because they didn’t want to, but because they hadn’t found their way of doing it, aging to taste rather than time. It took some experimentation from the distillery to make it happen, slowing the speed of their bourbons’ maturation by racking selected barrels in the cool, temperature-controlled aging environment of their 2016-built limestone cellar instead of wildly fluctuating outdoor rickhouses. The 2026 edition of Maker’s Mark Cellar Aged marks the limited expression’s fourth release. It’s a marriage of 49% 11-year-old, 33% 12-year-old and 18% 14-year-old liquid lent a warm complexity by slower maturation and presented at an elevated 56.1% abv. Complex notes of black cherries, vanilla, ripe peaches and nutmeg on the nose, with a full, rich palate dripping in honey, dark sugars and baked plums. All orders are sent using tracked courier services, and we'll provide a link to track your order via email when it is dispatched so you can check on the progress of your items every step of the way.

Returns

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, we will arrange for a return via courier and issue a full refund.

To be eligible for a full refund you must contact us to inform us of any issue within 24 hours of receipt. Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.

Please note that any personalised, bespoke or made-to-order items, or items with a broken seal, are non-refundable unless faulty.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order, you must do so within 14 days from the day you received delivery. Items that are bespoke or personalised cannot be cancelled, and will only be returnable if faulty.

In the event of cancellation, the cost of returning your items will be your responsibility and not that of The Whisky Shop. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be processed on receipt of the items.
