History
Duncan Taylor was founded in Glasgow in 1938 as a Scotch whisky specialist. Since then, it was overtaken by Abe Rosenberg, an American, in the 1960s and re-acquired by a Scot when whisky merchant Euan Shand bought the company in 2002.
Duncan Taylor has been laying down casks from only the best Scottish distilleries for decades, with a portfolio of brands including Black Bull, The Octave, Dimensions and The Rarest.
With an impressive reputation as a premium broker, blender and cask expert built over 80 years, Duncan Taylor holds one of the largest privately-held collections of vintage and rare casks in the world. They pride themselves on offering the most innovative, complex and authentic whiskies as a part of their huge portfolio. Based in the heartland of Scotch single malt, Speyside, they have their own facilities for cask storage, bottling and cooperage in Huntly, Aberdeenshire.
