This release is from Speyburn Distillery, coming in the 'Cask Strength' range of Connoisseurs Choice. A 2008 vintage, this was bottled after a 12 year long maturation process in a first fill sherry butt, being bottled at 60.3% abv in 2021. It has a natural colour and is free from any chill filtration. 656 bottles have been produced, so get your hands on this one whilst you can. Rich sherry aromas harmonise with cinnamon and lemon peel. The palate is full of red berries, blood orange and a fruitcake flavour. The finish is medium-bodied, long, and has supple notes of treacle toffee. Returns

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, we will arrange for a return via courier and issue a full refund.

To be eligible for a full refund you must contact us to inform us of any issue within 24 hours of receipt. Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order, you must do so within 14 days from the day you received delivery. Items that are bespoke or personalised cannot be cancelled, and will only be returnable if faulty.

In the event of cancellation, the cost of returning your items will be your responsibility and not that of The Whisky Shop. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be processed on receipt of the items.
