Distilled at Speyburn in Rothes, a distillery that has traditionally been better known in US markets than domestically, this Speyside single malt is matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks and takes its name from the Gaelic for 'golden salmon' in tribute to the world-class salmon fishing on the River Spey.
The nose is crisp and fresh with green apple, lemon, honey and vanilla. The palate is full-bodied and sweet with creamy notes of vanilla and honey, before a long and spicy finish.
