An independently bottled treat for fans of Speyside’s Aultmore, jealously guarded by its parent company and fairly seldom seen on UK shores. Fully matured in a red wine barrique from Bordeaux’s legendary Château Margaux, adding intense tannins and complex, bittersweet fruity notes to the distillery’s grassy spirit. One of just 426 bottles from a single cask, presented at its natural strength of 55.5% abv, free from added colour or chill filtration. A splash of water opens up the nose, with musky pineapple, orange rind, peach gummies and a hint of marzipan emerging from mossy oak. On the palate, the flavours deepen into cranberry leather, red cherry compote and oak spice, with bold tannins, bitter chinotto orange and a final lift of sweet berries following on the finish. Choose our Reduce & Recycle service during checkout to remove any unwanted gift cartons, tubes or boxes, from your order. We'll send them to be recycled and you'll save paper, carbon emissions and time at the recycling centre!

All orders are sent using tracked courier services, and we'll provide a link to track your order via email when it is dispatched so you can check on the progress of your items every step of the way.

Returns

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, we will arrange for a return via courier and issue a full refund.

To be eligible for a full refund you must contact us to inform us of any issue within 24 hours of receipt. Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.

Please note that any personalised, bespoke or made-to-order items, or items with a broken seal, are non-refundable unless faulty.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order, you must do so within 14 days from the day you received delivery. Items that are bespoke or personalised cannot be cancelled, and will only be returnable if faulty.

In the event of cancellation, the cost of returning your items will be your responsibility and not that of The Whisky Shop. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be processed on receipt of the items.
