This limited-edition single malt showcases a distinctive sherry influence, having been matured for a full decade in traditional Manzanilla sherry butts. Distilled around 2014 and bottled at a robust 46% ABV, it is presented non-chill filtered and with natural colour to preserve its rich character. On the nose, aromas of warm sourdough bread mingle with the savoury scent of salted popcorn, giving an inviting, maritime edge. The palate reveals an elegant balance of dried fruits and chamomile tea, layered with bright grapefruit zest, sweet maple syrup, and a hint of salted walnut. The finish lingers with a gentle salinity that is classic of Manzanilla sherry, rounded by the comforting richness of warm brown butter. A refined and complex dram, The Manzanilla Edition captures the subtle coastal charm and nutty depth of its namesake sherry style, offering a memorable tasting experience for lovers of sherried single malts.
