Aberlour 10 years old is an award winning whisky, ideal for beginners, with some sherried spiciness. A traditional offering from Speyside, it has been matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks. Quite full-bodied and sweet, with spicy fruitcake, and a creamy malty-feel. Sherried raisins are present in the taste, as well as a whisper of toffee. The finish contains notes of caramel and honey, with lingering sweet spices. Beautiful and rich.
