There are rich and oaky aromas at first revealing fresh green tea with a touch of malted barley and pot ale - smells you often pick up whilst touring a distillery. It reveals a lot of sweeter notes over time with candy floss, fresh fruit jams and jelly sweets.
The flavours in this one on the palate are herby and nutty with sesame seeds, indian herbs and spices, more green tea, hazelnut, molasses and bitter dark chocolate - all making for a complex and intriguing dram. It has a fairly dry finish continuing on that herby theme with good oak and a touch of earthiness.
