With only 150 sets available worldwide, The Dalmore Cask Curation Series 2023 is a highly coveted collection of rare and exceptionally aged whiskies. The first edition in a four-set series, this release highlights The Dalmore’s long-standing partnership with Gonzalez Sherry by finishing the Highland single malts in the finest sherry casks in the world: Apostoles, Matusalem and Vintage Sherry. Each expression is bottled at cask strength, free from chill filtration and at natural colour. The set is immaculately presented in a leather box hand-crafted by Italian luggage makers AB Florence, to reflect the long voyages of the sherry casks, along with a limited-edition book which tells the story of the Sherry Edition including inspiring photography from Jerez and the home of The Dalmore. The 26 Year Old Vintage Sherry Finish has been initially matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon casks, before being transferred to Cask #4 - a 2002 Vintage Sherry Cask. Bottled at 48.2% abv, the whisky boasts aromas of orange blossom honey, apricot, Madagascan vanilla, and cacao, with a palate full of golden raisins, mandarin citrus, iced cherry cake, and sugared almonds. The 28 Year Old Matusalem Finish was first matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon casks and then finished in Cask #73 - a very rare 30 Year old Matusalem Sherry Cask. Bottled at 55.3% abv. Expect aromas of rich dark fruits, Manuka honey, liquorice, sweet tobacco, and star fruit, and a palate that shines notes of antique Sherry-soaked raisins, Old English marmalade, marzipan, and liquorice. All orders are sent using tracked courier services, and we'll provide a link to track your order via email when it is dispatched so you can check on the progress of your items every step of the way.

Returns

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, we will arrange for a return via courier and issue a full refund.

To be eligible for a full refund you must contact us to inform us of any issue within 24 hours of receipt. Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.

Please note that any personalised, bespoke or made-to-order items, or items with a broken seal, are non-refundable unless faulty.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order, you must do so within 14 days from the day you received delivery. Items that are bespoke or personalised cannot be cancelled, and will only be returnable if faulty.

In the event of cancellation, the cost of returning your items will be your responsibility and not that of The Whisky Shop. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be processed on receipt of the items.
