26th Oct 2023 The second edition, and second year, of Lochlea's seasonal batch releases, Fallow (Second Crop) is a limited edition bottling from the farm distillery. The bottling has been made to reflect autumn, when the fields are left fallow to rest after a busy harvest. Matured within Oloroso sherry and Pedro Ximenez sherry butts, the Lowland single malt has taken on a wonderfully dark colour. Bottled at 46% abv, free from chill filtration.

Initially matured in ex-bourbon and sherry casks, the finishing casks were shipped across from the Quails' Gate WInery in British Columbia, Canada where the liquid spent a further 16 months maturing.
