This 10-year-old single cask expression has been bottled by family-run independent bottler Hunter Laing & Co. as part of their First Edition series. Distilled in 2008 at Craigellachie in Speyside, this single malt has been matured for a decade in a single sherry cask. Bottled in 2019 at a preferred strength of 46% abv, just 528 bottles were filled.
The nose has sweet strawberries and toffee apples. The palate brings more sweet berries with blackberries and an oaky spice. The finish is long and spicy with a lingering pepper note.
