A chance to taste a meticulously made, full-bodied Highland single malt. Aged for 18 years in American virgin oak barrels, this has a balance between fruity and peaty characteristics. This malt arrives at 46% abv and is free from colouring and chill filtration.
The nose gives notes of green apple and grapefruit aromas, before the mature oak character shines through. Toasted oak and cigar box notes arrive on the palate, along with green apple and gooseberry. The finish is long, with soft medicinal peatiness and wood smoke.
