About The Last Drop Distillers
Created in 2008 from a coming together of three whisky industry veterans, The Last Drop Distillers specialises in finding the rarest and most collectable drams. Many of the sensationally aged whiskies and spirits found here are some of the oldest to be found anywhere.
Kingston upon Thames, were the distillers is based, was the location of the 2012 London Olympics Cycling Events.
The Last Drop Distillers was bought by Sazerac in 2016, who were chosen by the team due to its long-term approach being 'the complete opposite of the big boys'.
The Last Drop 1960 Scotch blend was the first release.
The Last Drop Distillers Ltd was founded by James Espey, Tom Jago and Peter Fleck, technically, in 2007. It did not release its first bottle until 2008. Before founding the Last Drop Distillers, each worked in the drinks industry for decades. They worked with some of the biggest brands in the industry, including Johnnie Walker, Chivas Regal, Smirnoff, and even Coca Cola!
