This Talisker expression was distilled while Winston Churchill was still Prime Minister in 1952. Bottled at 43% abv in 1973, this Skye Single Malt is a glass of history.The nose is rounded with big notes of orange, developing into mint and cough syrup. The palate is nice and bright with Talisker's recognisable pepper and lemon giving way to oak and sherry notes. The finish is fruity, smoky and captivating.
