"Bright amber. A mellow nose with fresh fruit top-notes (apricot, peach, a hint of mandarin), backed by tired floral scents and a hint of camphor. A pleasant texture and a lightly sweet, unusually floral taste, finishing short with a clean aftertaste. More-ish!"

The newest in The Lakes Distillery’s The Whiskymaker’s Editions series, Equinox is inspired by the last lingering twilight between a vibrant summer and the promise of a crisp amber autumn morning. The limited-edition expression has been matured within a combination of American and European oak Oloroso sherry casks, alongside a smaller number of calvados seasoned casks, before being bottled at 46.6% abv. Free from chill filtration, and at natural colour.
The nose brings aromas of baked apple, fresh apricots, baking spices and sandalwood, with a palate of dried apple, treacle, polished oak and sweet spice. The finish is particularly long and warming, with touches of lightly spiced treacle. Read More

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, we will arrange for a return via courier and issue a full refund.
To be eligible for a full refund you must contact us to inform us of any issue within 24 hours of receipt. Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.
Please note that any personalised, bespoke or made-to-order items, or items with a broken seal, are non-refundable unless faulty.

If you wish to cancel your order, you must do so within 14 days from the day you received delivery. Items that are bespoke or personalised cannot be cancelled, and will only be returnable if faulty.
In the event of cancellation, the cost of returning your items will be your responsibility and not that of The Whisky Shop. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be processed on receipt of the items.
