The Tobermory 2007 Sherry Finish is a warm, sweet and inviting expression from the Island distillery. Distilled in November 2007, the whisky spent the majority of its maturation period in refill hogsheads before being finished in sherry butts for 22 months. It was bottled in June 2019 at a robust 62.4% abv. Like all Tobermory single malts, it is free from chill filtration and artificial colouring.
The nose is sweet and rich with dried fruits, honeycomb, and subtle floral notes. The palate is full of notes of honey-baked peaches, brown sugar, and caramel. The finish is sumptuous and lingering with hints of rich dark chocolate.
