A special bottling made for sharing, The Journey represents the different stages of the journey to reunite with our loved ones across the festive period, and those unique moments around the world when we come together. The liquid itself has been aged in a perfectly balanced combination of first-fill American ex-bourbon barrels and European and American oak sherry casks before being bottled at 43% abv.

Aromas of toasted oak, creamy steamed rice, coconut milk pudding, citrus fruits, vanilla and oak biscuits arrive on the nose, before a palate bursting with effervescent citrus fruits. Lemon and lime, sweet vanilla and toasted coconut follow all the way to a sweet, oaky finish.

Crafted in collaboration with acclaimed Chinese mixed-media artist Nini Sum, the artwork adorning the bottle and packaging represents both the whisky's flavours and Nini's cherished New Year memories. It captures the effervescent burst of fireworks, the enticing aroma of toasted oak emanating from rice popcorn vendors on the brightly decorated streets of her town, the milk candy in her pockets and the sweet fragrance of steamed rice pudding beckoning her home.

The multi-layered packaging also depicts The Journey home. Firstly, the back of the pack features a contemporary cityscape with bright flashes of colour which represents leaving the city behind. The front of the pack captures the essence of both day and night as it's dark red hues evoke the night sky, stars, and fireworks, while light red hues mirror the serenity of daylight, mountains, clouds, and the beauty of nature. As you open the gift box, you are greeted by a warm, inviting yellow and orange interior, reminiscent of lantern light and the comforting feeling of coming home. The circles on the packaging evoke the myriad of twinkling lights shining under the roofs of many families at night - a true celebration of togetherness.
