The Sassenach Wild Scottish Gin

Noted for its creamy, soft mouthfeel, this tasty Scottish gin was crafted by Outlander actor Sam Heughan, to reflect the flavours of his childhood in the Dumfries and Galloway. Crab apples, rhubarb, and fragrant pink heather grew in abundance, and so these locally foraged botanicals were utilised in the expression, alongside Scottish juniper, pine resin, bramble leaf and toasted oats.

Known as 'selenicereus glandiflorus' in the scientific community, the flower blooms only once per year, and only ever in the dead of night - wilting by dawn. Finished in hand selected oak casks, Seventy One Gin rests for 71 nights, marrying the gorgeous botanicals in harmony. Expect aromas of crushed juniper and pine needles, which intertwine with a palate full of rose petals, aromatic botanicals and a delicate hint of citrus.
