The Prize
Win a trip for two to Waterford distillery, including flights and accommodation. Be treated to dinner and breakfast, and have a private tour of the distillery to meet with key people from the team that makes Waterford the magnificent whisky that it is. To finish, you will have a guided whisky tasting of the Waterford range.

The Whisky
Waterford Cuvée: Argot is a playful single malt whisky from the Waterford Distillery, made from a blend of Waterford's peated and unpeated Single Farm Origin whiskies. By using a terroir approach to whisky, in which Irish barley is harvested, distilled and matured farm by farm, Waterford create stellar whisky in which as much natural flavour from the barley as possible is extracted.
The whisky boasts flavours of ripe stone fruits, green foliage, cereal grains and winter spices, with an undercurrent of subtle peat smoke.
The Distillery
Waterford are the largest producer of organic and biodynamic whiskies. Using 100% Irish-grown barley from individual farms, they showcase a distinct flavour profile of one place and time - with each release crafted to celebrate the unique characteristics of its terroir. Inspired by the worlds greatest wine makers, and the importance they place upon the grape, Waterford are on a mission for natural flavour extracted from the barley.
Whether using heritage, organic, biodynamic or traditionally grown grain, the differing barley from individual farms around Ireland imbues complex flavours to each expression. The mash is then filtered through a state-of-the-art equipment, to extract only the very best from the grain, and matured with only the finest French and American oak casks.
