We are thrilled about our upcoming Digital Drams event, as we will be joined by Johnnie Walker Brand Ambassador, Adam Hussein, to explore the 'four corners of Scotland' - the single malt whiskies which contribute the world famous Johnnie Walker Blue Label. Get your pack now, and accompany us on 22nd June, for a bespoke journey through Johnnie Walker blended whisky.

Johnnie Walker Blue Label is a big flavoured whisky that reflects the Walker family's belief that neither whisky age alone, nor whisky from a single location, is enough to achieve the creation of an unrivalled masterpiece today. The 'four corners' refers to the distilleries which supply their fine single malts for use in Johnnie Walker expressions, and each comes from a different Scottish whisky region - Speyside, Islay, Lowland and Highland. They represent the landscape of flavours that impart their unique characters to Johnnie Walker whiskies. Glenkinchie imparts Lowland floral notes, Clynelish provides Highland fruitiness, Benrinnes gives a Speyside complexity and Caol Ila lends an Islay kick.

Each pack contains 5 x 3cl samples of:

  • Johnnie Walker Blue Label - the pinnacle of the Johnnie Walker range, the casks are hand-selected and set aside for their exceptional quality, character and flavour, with only 1 in 10,000 containing whisky of sufficient character to deliver Blue Label's remarkably smooth signature taste.
  • Caol Ila 12 Year Old - The nose is floral with fresh dough and crisp highland toffee. The palate is sweet and rounded with a wisp of peat, before malty biscuit notes in the finish.
  • Glenkinchie Distillers Edition 2021 - The nose balances dry notes of grapes with the sweeter notes that have come from Amontillado cask wood. On the palate, flavours of grape are still present combined with a powerful malty note.
  • Clynelish 14 Year Old - The nose holds woody spices, ginger and orange peel, which lead to distinctly maritime flavours on the palate with a rich and creamy mouthfeel.
  • Benrinnes 15 Year Old - The nose is floral with fresh dough and crisp highland toffee, with a sweet palate that is rounded with a wisp of peat, before malty biscuit notes in the finish.

Additionally, following the event, you will receive a 15% discount on all the whiskies sampled!

The event will take place on Thursday 22nd of June at 7.30pm and hosted via Zoom.
