Glenfarclas 10 Year Old Single Malt

The first of a few sherry matured drams on this list, this subtle and sweet single malt from Glenfarclas in Speyside is notable for its strong Christmas cake flavour. On the nose, toffee and sherry prevail, before a slightly smoky palate with notes of dried fruits and festive spices.

The One Fine Blended Whisky

Part of The One Collection by The Lakes Distillery, this blend is comprised of its own English single malt whisky and both grain and malt whiskies from Scotland. Expect wintery aromas of honey-roasted nuts and caramel, and a warming palate full of festive spices, toasted oak and dried fruit.

Dalmore 15 Year Old

Having been matured for twelve years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, with a three year finish in three different sherry woods - Amoroso, Apostoles and Matusalem Oloroso - this is a gorgeous Highland sherry-bomb perfect for your Christmas dinner. The palate brings orange zest, chocolate and gentle spice, against a backdrop of tasty sherry.

Glenmorangie 12 Year Old Palo Cortado

The first Glenmorangie to be finished in ultra-rare Palo Cortado sherry casks, this single malt is sure to impress your guests. The sweet and nutty sherry is created purely by chance, when the protective 'flor' yeast does not form on sherry intended to become Amontillado. With aromas of mulled wine and chocolate, and flavours of dried fruits, treacle, clove, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg on the palate - this dram is like a walk through a Christmas market.

Paul John Christmas Edition 2023

The clue is in the name with this one. Created by the exotic shores of tropical Goa along the west coast of India, this is Paul John's fifth limited edition release of their Christmas bottling. Matured in bourbon casks and finished in a single Vintage Colheita Tawny Port Cask, the festive-inspired dram brings flavours of sweet oak, dried fruits, warm caramel, vanilla and spice.

Edradour 10 Year Old Oloroso Sherry Cask

Green Spot

Green Spot is a single pot still Irish whiskey, comprised of pot still whiskeys aged between 7 and 10 years old. This critically acclaimed dram is matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, which results in notes of aromatic oils, mixed spices, green apple, toasted oak on the palate and a finish full of spicy cloves.

Old Pulteney Coastal Series Port Wine Cask

Having been finished in hand-selected Ruby Port pipes and barriques, this sweet and spicy Old Pulteney single malt brings cosy flavours of baked apples, caramelised sugar and cinnamon pastries, with hints of rose water and sea salt - before a finish of warming spice and plum jam sweetness.

Blanton's Original Single Barrel

This single barrel bourbon, taken from the middle sections of Blanton's Warehouse H, was once the preserve of ambassadors, dignitaries and friends and family of Colonel Blanton himself. Christmas flavours embody this spectacular bourbon, with notes of dried citrus fruits and caramel on the nose, and a palate full of burnt sugar, orange and cloves.

Redbreast 12 Year Old

A single pot still whiskey full of aroma and flavour, Redbreast 12 Year Old from Midleton distillery benefits is matured mostly in Oloroso sherry casks, giving it its trademark Christmas cake character. Touches of marzipan, liquorice, ginger and vanilla complement this Irish sherried favourite. And of course, it's named after robin redbreasts - whom adorn Christmas cards all over the country.
