This unique expression spent 54 years maturing in first fill Spanish oak sherry butts to create this fabulously sumptuous dram. Just 303 bottles were filled in 2022. The Charles Gordon Collection 1964 The First Drop An unforgettable expression from House of Hazelwood. This release consists of some of the first drops of whisky to flow through Girvan distillery. Distilled in 1964, just 71 bottles of this ultra-rare dram were filled in 2022 at 42% abv. On the nose, there is plenty of honey, smoke, and juicy fruit.
