New Release: That Boutique-y Whisky Company Cinema Labels Collection
The folks at That Boutique-y Whisky Company have an unrivalled passion for whisky and its ability to transport the drinker to far flung locations seen and unseen. They are also, like many of us, movie lovers at heart. Like a great whisky, cinema can unite us by creating a shared cultural experience that can, also, transport the viewer to far flung locations seen and unseen. Therefore, they have chosen to unite their two loves, in an innovative collection of film-inspired bottlings. A varied line-up of Scotch and world whiskies, they reference everything from spaghetti western to cult classic.
We're also offering anyone who buys a bottle from their newest releases, the opportunity to enter our private ballot for The Whisky Shop exclusive Springbank 29 Year Old Batch 29 from That Boutique-y Whisky Company. The liquid was matured entirely in a single Oloroso sherry cask, before being decanted at a robust 51.3% abv. John Carpenter's cult classic 'They Live' is the inspiration for the label of this one, with 'They Lie' a critique of unscrupulous cask selling investment salesmen.

Presented at 46.2% abv.
Expect notes of overripe apples and green bananas on the nose, along with hints of camphor, pine and bread dough. The palate is simply sublime, with a distinct waxiness. Mulled cider, apricot compote and white pepper flavours fade to a long, honeyed finish with a little peppery spice.
