Distilled in 1949, the expression spent an eye-watering 72 years maturing in a first fill sherry puncheon before being bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in 2022 at 48.6% abv. The nose is full of baked forest fruits, fresh vanilla, and plenty of sherry influence before leading to an inviting palate with notes of apple pie, vibrant citrus, and caramel.
