Milton, now Strathisla, has a history which dates back to 1786, where it was recorded as a brewery for a local monastery. It is the oldest active distillery in the Highlands. The spirit from the distillery is most often used in drams, making any expressions bearing the Milton or Strathisla name particularly special due to their rarity.
