This addition to the Highland distillery’s Principal Collection is exclusive to The Whisky Shop. This expression spent ten years maturing in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, before it was then finished with a flourish in hand-curated sherry barrels from Andalusia, Spain. This is a 12-year-old with a real punch of sherry flavour, the quintessential Dalmore characteristic. This single malt comes from a collaboration between Richard Paterson, the creative force behind the brand for over fifty years, and three cask partners from Andalucia: Tevesa, Vasyma, and Paez. This limited-edition run is full of sweet sherried flavours. Expect a decadent, sweet, dark drinking experience.

This single malt is the Rolls Royce of the recent Dalmore releases. This 2021 release is a very limited-edition whisky, with no expense spared. The Dalmore’s reputation as a maker of vibrant, rich drams is on full display here. This Dalmore 30 Year Old is matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks and was finished in Graham’s 30 year Old Tawny Port pipes. Maturing an exceptionally aged whisky in another exceptionally aged port combines the expertise of two disciplines into one sensational interdisciplinary expression. Presented at 42.8% abv, this port cask is lingering, full of body, and rich in history. Expect citrus, black cherries, treacle, and port characteristics filling the nose.

The Dalmore Cigar Malt, 44% ABV

This single malt will go toe-to-toe with the heftiest cigar. To make this one, Dalmore draw from three types of cask: American white oak ex-bourbon casks, 30 year old Matusalem oloroso sherry butts and premier cru Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques. Expect rich caramel, shortcake, and biscuits on the nose, before an explosion of caramel and wonderful sherried notes on the palate.
